Widely respected for his deep knowledge of touch rugby as well as his explosive pace, Kaniya has become a standout player who combines technical skill with athleticism. Always quick to make an impact, he is a vital presence in both attack and defense.

Most recently, Kaniya was selected for the Sri Lankan Touch Rugby Team Pool, representing Sri Lanka in preparation for the Touch Rugby World Cup — a milestone that reflects his hard work, talent, and dedication to the sport.
